DM4360. MPLS Access Switch.
DM4360
MPLS Access Switch

DM4360 family switches offer high switching capability to meet the increasing demands of access demarcation while providing Metro Ethernet services with performance and reliability.

The DM4360 family is equipped with the modular DmOS network operating system, ensuring robustness and high service availability on a platform supporting a range of L2 / L3 / MPLS features, including support for VLAN operations such as QinQ. and VLAN Translate, LAG / LACP, ring operation via EAPS or ERPS protocol, RSTP support, static and dynamic IP routing protocols using OSPF and BGP. MPLS through LDP functionality is also supported for creating point-to-point (VPWS) and point-to-multipoint (VPLS) services, as well as IP services through L3VPNs. All L2, L3 and MPLS packet forwarding, filtering and QoS policy enforcement are done in HW, ensuring wirespeed operation.

The products offer command line configuration (CLI) accessible via SSHv2, Telnet and RS-232 or USB console port. RADIUS and TACACS features enable the creation of differentiated policies with user authentication and access authorization levels. Local and remote syslog functionality, SNTP clients, DHCP and SNMP server functionality are also available to allow remote management and troubleshooting of the equipment.

The DM4360 family switches are compact 1U high enclosures in a metal enclosure. They feature a universal AC / DC internal power supply with automatic selection and redundancy through an optional external source. Up to two devices can be installed side by side in a 19" rack via an adapter.
